Take the 2020 summit challenge

Your fundraising supports individual scholarships for the Daniel Bryant Youth & Family Center, a program of the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, that provides substance abuse treatment for teens and their families. To learn more, visit cadasb.org or call (805) 963-1433.

Step 1. Register Online

Please help us prepare by registering in advance, although registration is also available at the event. A minimum pledge of $50 is required for adults to participate; $25 for youth aged 8-18; kids 7 and under hike free.

Summit for Danny encourages climbers to form teams—from friends to businesses to families, all are welcome. A traveling trophy is awarded to the biggest team!

Step 2. Don Your Swag

Once you register, a special event tshirt will be mailed to you. Please wear it on your hike.


Step 3. Enjoy the Hike

Enjoy hiking at any point during the 3-week period between October 10-31 at Elings Park. Your choice of two trails will be clearly marked. If you live outside of Santa Barbara, take part too by selecting your own 3 or 7 mile hike.


Step 4. Take Photos

Take photos while hiking. When complete, please post to Facebook, Instagram, or send directly to cremak@cadasb.org. Prizes will be awarded in a number of categories.
